UCT is making a special effort to accommodate young engineers and industry professionals along with engineering and construction management students. Sponsored by the North Texas Chapter of the Underground Construction Technology Association, young professionals and students will received a complimentary full conference admittance to all 3 days of UCT.
There will be a special focus on Wednesday, Feb. 1. A full slate of important educational sessions kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with a special 1.5-hour panel 10:30 a.m. to noon titled “What To Expect: Designing Your First Trenchless Project. Panelists will cover important topics for young or new-to-the-field professional engineer/construction personnel and what to expect when designing and executing their first trenchless project, including do’s and don’ts. The interactive panel/audience discussion will also be appropriate for engineering and construction management students.
Next up will be a free lunch in the exhibit hall followed by tours of the internationally renowned RehabZone with displays, experts and demonstration of both historical and modern sewer and water rehabilitation methods. After touring the RehabZone, participants will be encouraged to visit the expansive UCT exhibit hall to view the latest technologies and companies participating in the underground infrastructure markets.
Wrap up the evening with the annual UCT Networking Reception where hundreds of attendees enjoy interactive with both new and old friends and discussing industry matters in a relaxed atmosphere.
